Description:

The International Organization for Migration (hereinafter referred to as IOM) announces the open Call for Proposals in the framework of the Project “Socio-Economic Integration Through Social Enterprise Development to Address the Problem of Drug Abuse Among Georgian Nationals, Including Returning and Potential Migrants” funded by the Federal Office for Migration of Switzerland. This Call for Proposals aims at selection of Social Enterprise Implementing Partner Organizations for the establishment and/ or further development of Social Enterprises that should employ at-risk, stabilized and former drug users among Georgian nationals, including returning and potential migrants.

The size of the Grant requested under this Call for Proposals must not exceed the maximum of CHF 100,000 payable by IOM.

Co-funding (cash contribution) from the Applicant is mandatory and should amount to the following minimum percentages of the total eligible cost requested by the Applicant:

· Minimum: 10% to 20%

The Social Enterprises’ Grant Project’s implementation period is 24 months.

Supported Social Enterprise Implementing Partners should open minimum 8 to 10 job places for at-risk, stabilized and former drug users among Georgian nationals, including returning and potential migrants and overall, should employ at least 25 persons from the aforementioned target group over the course of the Social Enterprises’ Grant Project’s implementation period of 24 months.

The Social Enterprise Implementing Partners will be selected according to the eligibility and selection criteria and pursuant to the transparent evaluation process as described in the Guidelines for Social Enterprises’ Grant Applicants.

Tender Submission Guidelines:

Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope by registered mail, private courier service or by hand-delivery (a signed and dated certificate of receipt will be given to the deliverer) at the address below:

IOM now invites interested applicants to submit respective Project Proposals by 26th September 2014, 15:00 h.

Applications sent by any other means (e.g. by fax or by e-mail) or delivered to other addresses will be rejected.

Applications must be submitted in one original and three copies in A4 size, each bound.

The Application Form and all annexes must also be supplied in electronic format (CD-ROM or memory stick) in a separate and unique file (e.g. the Application Package must not be split into several different files). The electronic format must contain exactly the same Application as the paper version.

Applicants must verify that their Application is complete using the Checklist (Section 11 of the Application Form). Incomplete applications may be rejected.

Application has to be filled in English Language ONLY.

IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and to annul the selection process and reject all Proposals at any time prior to Grant award, without thereby incurring any liability to potential Social Enterprise Implementing Partners.
